Quick Critique: World of Warcraft

Warcraft is based on the game series of the same name by Blizzard Entertainment. It is largely influenced by the original RTS game Warcraft: Orcs & Humans rather than the hugely popular MMORPG World of Warcraft, though it takes elements from future games. I have not played any of them. Not a single one. So let this be a statement from someone who has absolutely zero investment in this series and is judging this solely as a movie: why is this getting critically mauled like it is? Conor Lawlor (Feridia Walsh-Peelo) is an ordinary boy who is put into public school after his parents fall on hard times. Whilst attending Synge Street, he becomes infatuated with a girl named Raphina (Lucy Boynton) and lies about being in a band in order to impress her. Quick Critique: Love

Provocative French filmmaker Gaspar Noé (‘Enter the Void’, ‘Irreversible’) returns for a rather bold look at passion and sexuality. Told from the perspective of Murphy (Karl Glusman), he begins reminiscing about his life with Electra (Aomi Muyock) after getting a phone call from her mother saying that she has been missing for two months. On top of that, it forces him to examine his current relationship with Omi (Klara Kristin), a woman he accidentally got pregnant cheating on Electra with after all three of them had an erotic encounter together.
